Our music

PURPOSE
We play transcriptions of recordings by  Duke Ellington & His Orchestra, many created by
David Berger of New York. Most are available through the   Essentially Ellington program of   Jazz@LincolnCenter. Other of our charts were transcribed by Tony Faulkner of the Duke Ellington Repertory Orchestra at Leeds College of Music, Leeds, UK and by Michael Kilpatrick of Cambridge, UK.

The songs below with hyperlinks are Ellington's recordings, accessible on the website of Duke's grandson Paul Mercer Ellington. Paul has a large number of Ellington recordings, interviews by Duke, and recordings by the current Duke Ellington Orchestra on his website
